The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the upcoming closure of State Road 37/13 for a pavement restoration project in Hamilton and Madison counties.

Starting on or after Monday, July 7, SR 37/13 will close to traffic between SR 213 and SR 28. The closure will allow crews to safely complete milling and paving through cold in-place recycling, which reuses existing materials to construct a new road surface.

The official detour for SR 37 will follow SR 213 and SR 28. The official detour for SR 13 will continue on SR 37 and SR 32. Access will be maintained for local residents. The road is expected to reopen by the end of October, weather permitting.

INDOT encourages drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and travel distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
