The Enchanted Forest Swim Meet, an annual Noblesville tradition, began Friday at the Forest Park Aquatic Center.
The host Noblesville Swim Club claimed some event victories on the meet’s first day. Taylor Preston swept the 200 individual medley and 200 freestyle races in the Girls 9-10 division. Maya Preston then led a 1-2 Noblesville finish in the Girls 13-14 1500 free, with Hayley Blackwell taking second. Haddie Vohs won the Girls Open 400 free.

The Fishers Area Swimming Tigers picked up two wins. Grace Gannon paced the Girls Open 400 IM, then took seconds in the 400 free. Hagen Lee placed first in the Boys Open 1500 free.
Southeastern Swim Club got a victory in the Girls Open 1500 free, with Brooklyn Penn winning the race.
Day 2 of the Enchanted Forest meet begins at 7:30 a.m. this morning with preliminary races for the 13-14 and Open categories in the following events: 200 breaststroke, 50 free, 100 backstroke, 200 butterfly and 200 free.
The afternoon session starts at 1:30 p.m., with prelims in the 11-12 categories for the 100 breaststroke, 50 free, 50 backstroke and 100 butterfly. The 10 and under swimmers will compete in timed finals in the same events. Finals in all races for the 11-12, 13-14 and Open categories begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Sunday portion of the schedule follows the same timeline. The 13-14 and Open swimmers compete in the 200 IM, 100 butterfly, 200 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and 100 free. The 11-12 and 10 and under swimmers will race in the 50 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 50 breaststroke and 100 free.
