Recent Westfield graduate Will Harvey is showing no signs of letting up.
Just a few days after leading the Shamrocks to an IHSAA team state championship, Harvey was back in action, along with several other Hamilton County golfers, at the Indiana Golf Foundation’s Boys State Junior Championship. The tournament is taking place this week at Purdue University’s Ackerman-Allen Course.
Harvey, who is committed to Purdue, tied for the lead after the stroke play round, scoring an eight under par 135. (That’s the same score Harvey carded to win the IHSAA individual championship. Harvey tied with Fort Branch’s Peyton Blackard but won a playoff for the stroke play medalist honor.
