August 3, 1989 – May 27, 2025
James Llewellyn Peoples, 35, Noblesville, passed away on May 27, 2025. He was born on August 3, 1989, to Glenn and Kathy (Nicholson) Peoples. Known for his quiet strength and unwavering loyalty, James lived with a deep commitment to those he loved – both his blood family and his chosen family of lifelong friends.
James worked as a pipelayer at Elevation Excavation since 2018, where his colleagues admired his steady focus, unwavering dedication, and his ability to brighten any job site with a smile and a quick joke. He graduated from Noblesville High School in 2008, where he played rugby, participated in 4-H, and volunteered at Conner Prairie. These experiences shaped his appreciation for teamwork, hands-on work, and community service.
A trusted confidant and steadfast friend, James built bonds that endured through years of shared struggles and triumphs. His chosen family often described him as someone who listened without judgment, offered quiet support during difficult times, and celebrated others’ joys with genuine enthusiasm. He was fiercely protective of his mother, Kathy, and remained a source of strength for his siblings, Rhyannon and Carl, throughout life’s challenges.
He is survived by his daughter, Deliliah King; mother, Kathy; and siblings, Rhyannon and Carl (Spaulding). He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn; and fiancée, Jessica King, whose loss left a profound mark on his heart.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville. Please feel welcome to come spend time with family and friends.
