Carmel’s water quality meets EPA & state standards

To comply with Indiana Department of Environmental Management state regulations, Carmel Utilities issues an annual Water Quality Report (also called Consumer Confidence Report) that details the quality of the city’s drinking water.

The purpose of this report is to raise understanding of drinking water and awareness of the need to protect the city’s drinking water sources.

Carmel Utilities reports that the city’s tap water met all Environmental Protection Agency and state standards in 2024. Read the 2024 Water Quality Report at carmelutilities.com/water-quality.

If you have any questions about this report, please contact Jaimie Foreman, City of Carmel Utilities Drinking Water Regulatory Compliance Supervisor, at (317) 571-4144.
