Wood Wind Golf Course in Westfield is participating in the WISH-TV GR8 Golf Card promotion. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy local golf courses in the area. If you purchase the Gr8 Golf Card, you’ll get one round of golf at each participating golf course. A total of 26 golf courses are participating.
Wood Wind Golf Course is one of the locations you’ll be able to play at. It’s the only public golf course in Westfield.
Elliot Elger is the PGA Head Golf Professional and says customer service is their number one priority.
“It’s a very up and coming area here in Westfield,” Elger said. “I’ve been here for almost seven years and when I got here it was nothing but farm land. The influx of residents has been absolutely great for Wood Wind.”
Elger says Wood Wind is an old course with a historic clubhouse.
“It was an old farmhouse in Westfield and it developed in 1990,” he said. “It’s been purchased by the city of Westfield as of October of last year, so we’re really excited for our new partners.”
With Wood Wind being a public course, Elger says everyone is welcome.
“We do have rental sets if you’re a beginner,” he said. “But if not, just bring your clubs and a good attitude.”
