Winner to receive $1,000 scholarship
The 32nd annual Hamilton County Youth Service Awards ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. Monday, May 12 at the Government & Judicial Center in Noblesville.
The ceremony is sponsored by the Hamilton County Commissioners and the Hamilton County Council on Alcohol and Other Drugs (HCCOAOD) as part of its ongoing effort to recognize outstanding service by youth in the community.

“Every year, I’m amazed by the passion and resilience of these young leaders,” HCCOAOD Executive Director Monica Greer said. “Their dedication to service and their stand for a drug-free lifestyle are powerful reminders of the positive future being built right here in Hamilton County.”
This year’s nominees showcase a stellar lineup of young achievers. Among the outstanding nominees are Josh Cale representing Carmel High School, Sloan Ferguson from Fishers High School, Madison Bowman from Hamilton Heights High School, Evan Lawhead from Hamilton Southeastern High School, Ryan Vetor from Noblesville High School, Zachary Phillips from Sheridan High School, and Asha Adhikari from Westfield High School.
The selection process is overseen by a dedicated committee of employees. While one exceptional individual will be honored with the prestigious $1,000 scholarship, every finalist will receive a $300 scholarship in recognition of their exemplary service.
