Hamilton Southeastern High School student Caroline Gretencord was honored by the local school board Wednesday night. Caroline was one of nine “Student of the Year” campaign candidates for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In only seven weeks, Caroline raised more than $50,000. She was one of only three participating students who raised that amount, a fundraising level that only a handful of students across the country achieved.
