College baseball returns to the heart of downtown Indianapolis as Indiana University and Ball State University face off at Victory Field on April 23 at 6 p.m.
This marks the third matchup between the Indiana Hoosiers and Ball State Cardinals at the iconic ballpark in the last nine years. Gates open at 5 p.m. on April 23.
Fans can secure their seats now, with assigned seating starting at $8. Infield box seats are available for $14, while premium options include the Yuengling Landing at $30, Elements Financial Club at $80, and access to picnic areas and suites at regular rental rates. Active-duty military members and veterans receive a $2 discount per ticket, and children ages 2 and under are admitted for free.
The Hoosiers (19-14) come into the matchup riding a four-game win streak, including a 7-5 victory over Ball State (23-11) on April 8 in Bloomington. That game saw the Cardinals jump to an early 2-0 lead before Indiana responded with a five-run fifth inning to secure the win.
“Hosting college games at our downtown Indianapolis ballpark is a great opportunity to promote high-level baseball across the state,” said Matt Guay, vice president and general manager for the Indianapolis Indians. “We’re excited to welcome the Hoosiers and Cardinals back to Victory Field next week for another thrilling matchup.”
Victory Field has been kind to the Hoosiers in recent years. Since 2015, Indiana holds a 5-1 record at the venue, including wins over Ball State in 2017 (4-3) and 2019 (9-3). The 2023 matchup was canceled due to inclement weather.
Fans are encouraged to purchase Indians mini plans, single-game tickets, or reserve group and premium experiences. For more information, visit IndyIndians.com or contact the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-3545 or Tickets@IndyIndians.com.
