Reporter announces all-county girls swim teams

For the second year in a row, the Hamilton County Reporter is naming Carmel senior Alexandra Shackell as its 2024-25 Girls Swimmer of the Year.

Shackell once again was a four-time winner at the state meet. She won the butterfly event, becoming a rare four-time champion in that event, placing first every year from freshman to senior. Shackell also was a part of all three Carmel state champion relays. The Olympic gold medalist finished her high school career with 15 state titles.
