Indianapolis-based homebuilder Onyx+East broke ground Wednesday on Nickel Row, its first property in Fishers.

The event featured remarks from Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness, VP of Acquisition and Development Jake Dietrich, and Holy Family Episcopal Church Senior Warden Gary Snyder, highlighting the community’s role in bringing an urban living experience to Fishers.

Located in one of America’s top-ranked places to live, Nickel Row is steps from the thriving Nickel Plate District and offers direct access to the Nickel Plate Trail, a multi-use path through downtown. The community blends suburban convenience with contemporary urban design, featuring open-concept interiors, energy-efficient technology, high-end finishes, and two-car garages.

The development includes multiple floorplans ranging from 2,190 to 2,317 square feet, with three or four bedrooms and 2.5 or 3.5 bathrooms. Twelve homes will also feature private elevators, adding a unique luxury element to this new neighborhood.
