Sheridan sailed to victory in its regular-season finale Friday, winning 67-45 at Waldron.
The Blackhawks got off to a good start, leading 24-10 after one quarter. Sheridan extended its lead to 43-24 by halftime and was up 51-35 after three periods.
Trey Page put on another long-range shooting show, draining seven 3-pointers while scoring 30 points. Caleb Wright made three triples on his way to 17 points and also dished out seven assists. Damon Winston led the rebounds with nine and handed out four assists. Devon Hamilton collected seven rebounds.
Sheridan is 16-5 and travels to Frankton next Friday for Class 2A Sectional 39. The Blackhawks drew the bye and will play the winner of Tuesday’s first-round game between Taylor and Tipton.
