Ribbon cutting & week-long ‘Dessert to Donate’ community giveback initiative
Kilwins Fishers will celebrate its official Grand Opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at its location in The Station at Fishers District, between Torchy’s Tacos and Kura Sushi.
The event will feature Mayor Scott Fadness, OneZone Chamber representatives, Kilwins Fishers store owners, and other community members.
As part of its commitment to the Fishers community, Kilwins will also present its first donation check to Mudsock Youth Athletics from sales of the store’s signature ice cream flavor, Mudsock Mud.
Guests can enjoy special deals and giveaways throughout the weekend including Kilwins’ hand-crafted confection treats, fudge, and original recipe ice cream.
“After opening our doors in late 2024, we are excited to host our official ribbon-cutting ceremony,” Store Owner Adam Kallick said. “In addition to celebrating our Grand Opening, we are looking forward to giving back to the community through our ‘Dessert-to-Donate’ initiative, supporting five local nonprofit organizations with a portion of sales going to that organization. Kirstyn and I feel that it is important to be good partners with the local community, the same community that we hope will embrace and support our family business.”
As part of its Grand Opening Celebration Week, Kilwins Fishers will hold “Dessert-to-Donate” from Feb. 24 to 28, where a percentage of the store’s entire sales each day will be donated to a featured local nonprofit each day.
- Monday, Feb. 24 – benefiting Mudsock Youth Athletics
- Tuesday, Feb. 25 – benefiting Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County
- Wednesday, Feb. 26 – benefiting Fishers Youth Initiative (FYI)
- Thursday, Feb. 27 – benefiting Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation (HSEF)
- Friday, Feb. 28 – benefiting The Fifty Club of Fishers
