Westfield’s girls dropped a 45-36 Hoosier Crossroads Conference game to Brownsburg Friday at CSI Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs led 11-5 after the first quarter, but the Shamrocks came back to tie the game at 15-15 by halftime. MaKayla Hatcher scored all five of Westfield’s points in the opening period, with Meg Hamilton and Audra Parker each scoring four in the second quarter.
Hatcher added four more points in the third quarter, helping the ‘Rocks to a 24-22 lead. But Brownsburg took over in the fourth, scoring 23 points.
Hatcher led Westfield with 12 points, while Hamilton hit three 3-pointers on her way to 10 points.
The Shamrocks are 2-4 in the conference and 14-8 overall. Westfield finishes its regular season on Tuesday by hosting Ben Davis.
