The Hamilton Heights boys basketball team got a nice win at Lapel Friday by the score of 63-59.
The Huskies got off to a strong start, leading 23-13 after one quarter. Heights held a 42-32 advantage at halftime. The Bulldogs cut into the Huskies’ lead in the second half, but Heights was able to hold on for the win.
Logan Saunders had another solid shooting night, making five 3-pointers on his way to 28 points. Dreydin Serna added 11 points and Rees Knapp scored 10. Tyler Champion led the rebounds with six, while Saunders collected five. Champion and Jack Kakasuleff both dished out four assists.
The Huskies are 8-5 and play at Maconaquah next Saturday.
