Refuge Christian Church welcomed Alston Geers as the new senior minister on Jan. 1.

Geers has a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology from Johnson University in Knoxville, Tenn.  He also has a Masters of Arts in Sports Administration from Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Ky.

Prior to coming to Noblesville, he and his wife Kacey lived in Frankfort, Ky. He served as the Youth Minister at Graefenburg Christian Church in Frankfort from 2017 through 2024. In addition to his duties as the Youth Minister he served as Athletics Director and Physical Education and Health Teacher at Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg, Ky., since 2022.

“I’m thrilled to be here and honored to serve the Noblesville community,” Geers said. “My wife and I are eager and exited to build meaningful relationships, and share in the love of Jesus Christ in the community.”

Refuge Christian Church holds worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings. The church is located at 11772 E. 196th St., Noblesville.
