Reliable Energy President Jon Ford appointed to lead Indiana Office of Energy Development

Savannah Kerstiens Named Interim President

Governor Mike Braun has announced the appointment of Reliable Energy, Inc. (REI) President Jon Ford to lead the Indiana Office of Energy Development. He will serve under Secretary of Energy and Natural Resources Suzie Jaworowski.

Reliable Energy’s board has voted to appoint Savannah Kerstiens, the current VP of Communications at REI, as interim President.

“As president of Reliable Energy, Jon has successfully promoted policies aligned with the recommendations of state and federal energy experts, better positioning Indiana to align its energy priorities with economic growth,” said Terry Marsh, Board Chair of REI and Director of Government Affairs at Alliance Resource Partners. “Governor Braun has made clear that ensuring the reliability and affordability of electricity is a top priority, and there are no better Hoosiers than Jon and Suzie to lead this important agenda. We’re excited to have Savannah’s passion for energy policy and communication expertise guiding REI during this critical time, especially as we begin the busy 2025 legislative session.”
