Guerin Catholic dropped its Circle City Conference finale at Roncalli Tuesday, 61-40.
The Royals jumped out to a 19-10 lead after the first quarter and led 27-18 at halftime. The Golden Eagles’ Ava Bills scored 11 points in the first half, including seven in the opening period. Roncalli extended its lead to 43-31 after three periods and outscored GC 18-9 in the fourth.
Bills finished the game with 20 points. Lillian Behrle scored nine points; both she and Bills hit two 3-pointers.
The Golden Eagles finished conference play 1-2 and are 9-7 overall. Guerin Catholic hosts Sheridan next Tuesday.
