Hamilton Southeastern’s girls cruised past Fort Wayne Carroll 75-43 Saturday in a home game.
The Royals led 20-10 after one quarter, then jumped ahead 46-22 by halftime. Southeastern continued to roll in the third period, leading 65-33.
“Our execution was tremendous in the first half,” said Royals coach Brian Satterfield. “We dished out 15 assists on 18 made field goals and only had three turnovers.
Kennedy Holman led the way with a double-double of 22 points and 10 assists; she also blocked two shots. Maya Makalusky also reached double-double status with 19 points and 10 rebounds, making three 3-pointers. Kayla Stidham nailed five 3-pointers for 15 points and dished out five assists.
Southeastern is 18-0 and hosts Westfield Friday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference girls-boys doubleheader.
