Westfield’s win over No. 15-ranked Zionsville (see related story) included victories for all five of the Shamrocks’ ranked wrestlers.
Each wrestler is among the top 20 in the latest polls released by IndianaMat.com. Westfield’s ranked student-athletes include the No. 2-rated wrestler at 106 pounds, freshman Connor Maddox. He shares the honor of highest-ranked wrestler in Hamilton County with Fishers’ Xavier Smith, who is No. 2 at 175 pounds.
The Tigers have four ranked wrestlers, while Hamilton Southeastern has three. Carmel’s Michael Major is third at 165 pounds, while Hamilton Heights’ Michael Cain is rated sixth in that class; they join the Royals’ Cohen Jackson Davis, who is 17th.
Noblesville’s Aidan Kincaide was ranked No. 1 at 157 pounds, but he was injured earlier and is out for the remainder of the season.
