The Carmel boys wrestling team finished as runner-up at the Kyle Osborn Invitational last Saturday at McCutcheon.
The Greyhounds scored 199 team points; Harrison won the event with 234.5 points. Carmel had three individual champions: Carlo Federici won the 113-pound division, Alex Agee was first at 132 and Elijah Penquite was the 144-pound winner.
Four Carmel wrestlers placed third: Jordan Penquite at 106, Tyler Elliott at 138, Adel Navarrete at 190 and Will Massey at 215. Two more finished fourth: Eli Isen at 165 and Jackson Bui at 285.
Brock Raasch (at 120), Sully Mayhar (at 126), Braydon Mack (at 150) and Elliott Johnson (at 175) all finished in fifth place. Jordan Jay took sixth at 157.

Fishers placed fifth at the Columbus East Invitational last Saturday.
The Tigers scored 137.5 team points. Camden Funk finished third at 215 pounds for Fishers’ highest individual place, while Ryan Dungee took fourth at 285 pounds and scored the most team points with 20; Dungee went 4-2 but won all four matches by fall.
Seth Lamb (at 113), Mason Quarles (at 120) and Andrei Bogdan (at 157) all got fifth-place finishes. Will Hruskoci (at 126), Ellis Burns (at 138) and Mustafa Ellakany (at 165) all placed sixth in their weight classes. Zeke Kramer took seventh at 150, while Graham Imes placed eighth at 175.
