The Guerin Catholic girls basketball dropped a home game to Covenant Christian last Saturday 69-61. Guerin Catholic led 11-9 after one quarter, but the Warriors took control in the second period for a 30-26 halftime advantage.
Covenant Christian expanded its lead to 49-37 after three quarters. The Golden Eagles poured in 24 points in the fourth, but the Warriors stayed in front for the win.
Annie Murphy led GC with 18 points, including two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. Bills scored 14 points and Ford had eight.
Guerin Catholic is 4-4 and hosts Cathedral on Thursday before playing at Peru Saturday afternoon.
