News from Lake Meadows Assisted Living

Here is some of the latest news this holiday season from Lake Meadows Assisted Living in Fishers.

Food & Toy Drive

Lake Meadows’ food drive is underway now until Dec. 17. The toy drive ends on Dec. 19, and residents and staff are compiling homeless bags to be delivered on Dec. 10. Pet supplies will also be accepted for the Humane Society. The residents would love for the community to donate. To donate, the public can bring items to Lake Meadows, 11570 E. 126th St., Fishers, where there are barrels in the lobby for food, toys, and pet items.

Noblesville Christmas Parade

Lake Meadows is also participating in the Christmas parade for the Noblesville Holiday Lights at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, which will be televised.

Holiday door decorations

Lake Meadows resident Gene Fulmer formerly worked at McNamara Florist and is famous for the over-the-top Christmas decorations on his door. All residents join in the fun, and there’s a door decor contest in mid-December. Fulmer would love to share his tips with residents.
