Creekside Village of Fishers among U.S. News’ ‘Best Nursing Homes’ evaluation

U.S. News recently conducted its annual assessment of nursing homes across the United States and recognized eight American Senior Communities (ASC) locations in its rankings.

In the U.S., approximately 1.2 million individuals (8 percent aged 85 and over) will reside in a nursing home. Nursing home stays can range from days to years. To address both possibilities, two areas were rated: short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. To be recognized, a home must be “high performing” in one or both areas.

Standards for evaluation include nurse staffing, patient outcomes, measures taken to provide a safe environment, and high-quality healthcare. (The ratings methodology report can be found here.)

In the 2025 rankings, almost 15,000 nursing homes across the USA were evaluated, with only 2,836 (19 percent) meeting the criteria for recognition in one or both areas.

Among those nursing homes is Creekside Village of Fishers, which was recognized as High Performing in Short-Term Care.

“Being among the select 19 percent nationwide recognized by U.S. News is incredibly rewarding,” American Senior Communities CEO Steve Van Camp. “Having eight of our communities earn this distinction is a remarkable achievement and reflects the dedication and excellence of the teams at these locations. Their commitment to delivering outstanding care is genuine, and it’s gratifying to see their efforts acknowledged in this way.”
