Shortly before 8 p.m. Nov. 3, Noblesville Fire Department units were dispatched to a fire at a home in the 5000 block of Dunhaven Road.

The homeowners were alerted to the fire when neighbors knocked on their door and told them of smoke coming from the garage. Both occupants were able to safely evacuate the home and 911 was called.

The first fire units to arrive were met with smoke coming from the garage and eves of the building. The engine company was able to quickly enter the garage and marked the fire out a short time later.

There were no injuries to civilians, firefighters, or pets. Fire investigators have not released the cause of the fire.
