County players flood IHSTeCA All-State teams

Several Hamilton County boys tennis players were named to the 2024 Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association’s All-State teams.

Three local doubles teams were named to the First Team Doubles. They are the Carmel duo of senior Michael Bao and sophomore Grant Mu, this year’s individual doubles state runners-up. Guerin Catholic’s team of senior Rhys Garrison and junior David Cacchillo weas also named First Team, along with the Hamilton Southeastern team of senior Tyler Rich and junior Landon Osswald, who were individual state semifinalists.

Carmel junior Wes Worobel and Westfield junior Parker Paramoure were both named to the Second Team Singles, while the Noblesville doubles team of senior Jack Brenneman and junior Dane Campbell was named to Second Team Doubles.

The following players were named Honorable Mention Team Singles: Carmel juniors Andrew Kim and Vishal Shankar, Fishers seniors Aidan Foley and Gavin Conrad, Guerin Catholic sophomore Charlie Phillips and freshman Jack Tiplick, Hamilton Southeastern seniors Alex Piercy and Leo McVeigh and sophomore Brady Stump, and Westfield freshman Luke Stoecker.

Two doubles teams were named Honorable Mention Team Doubles: the Carmel duo of senior Venkata Sanjith Boddu and Rajeev Singh, and the Westfield team of seniors Parker Gibbs and Jay Hostetter.
