October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Hamilton County Reporter is proud to promote the Go Purple with Prevail campaign. Since the newspaper can’t wear a shirt, we have turned the front page of every print edition this month purple, and we have added wide purple borders to every online edition throughout October.
When our friends at Pasto Italiano, 3150 E. State Road 32, Westfield, heard about the Go Purple with Prevail campaign, they went all out to show their support for this worthy cause.
New Pasto Italiano Owners Mike and Rich Bartolone bought purple shirts for the whole crew and asked customers to be patient for the few minutes it took to wrangle everyone outside for the photo you see on this page.
To those customers: thank you for being kind about the delay in service as The Reporter wrangled everyone together for this shot. Domestic violence awareness and prevention is an important cause, so you have this newspaper’s thanks for helping us get the word out.
To the Pasto Italiano crew: WELL DONE!
To all our readers: You can, go purple too!
If your friends, workplace, social organization, or nonprofit group wears purple, take a group photo and send it to News@ReadTheReporter.com and we’ll put it in the pages of Hamilton County’s Hometown Newspaper.
