The GOAT and ScapeGoat are the latest venues to open along the Monon Trail and Midtown in Carmel. Along with college football, the fun kicks off during the grand opening at noon on Saturday, Oct. 19. It promises to be a great day to hang out with friends at the new Boston-style lounge and cocktail bar.

At the ScapeGoat, you can indulge in hand-crafted cocktails inspired by Nor’easter bars and lounges, where the “Wicked Awesome Bar” offers a curated selection of Danny Boy craft beers and drinks prepared by ScapeGoat’s mixologists. Tapas and small plates are uniquely prepared to satisfy your taste buds, and make sure you check out the smash burgers and filet sliders with house horseradish sauce, fresh Thai lettuce wraps, and caprese salad.

The venue offers an indoor-outdoor vibe with multiple large-screen TVs, including an enormous four-panel digital system and an 85-inch TV for all your sports viewing needs. See the Indiana University vs. Nebraska game at noon, followed by Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech at 3:30 p.m.

Whether it’s a business function or a celebration, ScapeGoat’s small private room is perfect for any occasion. With stunning decor and finishes, the ScapeGoat sets the ideal ambiance to start and finish your evening.

Next door is the recently re-opened GOAT, a Boston-inspired tavern, showcasing incredibly prepared food and healthy cuisine options. Enjoy the game on large-screen TVs while experiencing the true stand-up tavern style sports viewing.

Touchtunes and pull tabs add to the lively atmosphere. Step outside and relax in the large indoor-outdoor pergola and patio that overlooks the amazing Monon Trail and Carmel’s Midtown entertainment district. The GOAT’s owners and staff take pride in serving guests craft beer, great spirits, and wine.

Together, the GOAT and ScapeGoat create a truly “Wicked Awesome” venue.

Mark your calendars for the grand opening of the GOAT and ScapeGoat on Oct. 19. Cheers to new beginnings.
