John (Jack) Charles Kirkpatrick

John (Jack) Charles Kirkpatrick peacefully passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 72, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born to Robert and Ruth Kirkpatrick, John’s life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and unwavering faith. He graduated from Haworth High School, Kokomo, in 1970 before earning his bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University. He went on to earn his master’s degree from Indiana University.

A devoted educator, John spent 32 years teaching fourth grade at Stony Creek Elementary and six years at Noble Crossing Elementary. His impact on students and fellow teachers was profound; he served as President of the Teachers Forum for 20 years, tirelessly advocating for the best interests of teachers in Noblesville. Alongside his teaching career, John spent over 30 years working at CVS, starting as a cashier and earning certification as a pharmacy technician.

John’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. He began his journey as an Acolyte at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church before finding his spiritual home at the Nazarene Church in Noblesville. His commitment to his community and the countless lives he touched will always be remembered.

In 1976, John married Joyce (McGee) Kirkpatrick, and they are now reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven. He is survived by his brother, Ron (Terri) Kirkpatrick of Kokomo; his beloved daughters, Kristina (Brett) Bowman, Erika (Chris) Thomas, and Leslie (JJ) Harris; and his cherished grandchildren, Kayla (Casey Hunter) Bowman, Tyler (Adeline Agee) Harris, Kendal Bowman, Gage Bowman, Brayden Harris, Elijah Thomas, Allie Harris, and Oliver Thomas. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Aria Hunter, Farrah Hunter, and Evalynn Hunter, who will carry forward his legacy of love.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. A private, family burial will be held at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
