Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance announces two changes to the company’s executive leadership team. Mark Miske has moved into the role of senior vice president of the life insurance division, and Nicholas Cebulko has been promoted to senior vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer.

Miske

Miske has been with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance since 1984, most recently serving as senior vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer since 2010. Early in his Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance career, Miske held a variety of leadership positions in the life, property, and casualty and finance divisions.

“In his 40-year career with us, Mark has demonstrated that he can meet challenges head-on and develop impactful solutions,” said Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kevin Murphy. “Working and leading in different divisions throughout the company, as well as his previous leadership of a key life system development project, make him uniquely qualified for his new role.”

A graduate of Butler University, Miske earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He has also earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

“I’m looking forward to working with our team of employees and agents to be faster and better at making it as easy as possible for our clients and prospective clients to purchase and maintain the life insurance they need to protect them and their families,” Miske said.

He and his wife, Amy, live in Indianapolis and have two children. Nell is a sophomore at Ball State working to become a high school English teacher and Porter is a senior at Lutheran High School in Indianapolis. In his free time, Miske enjoys volunteering at his son’s high school and spending time with his family doing fitness and outdoor activities. He is also passionate about fighting food insecurity in Indiana.

Cebulko

Cebulko’s career with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance began in 2016 when he joined the company as controller. He quickly moved up the ranks serving as an executive director and assistant treasurer before being promoted to senior vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer.

“I am thrilled about working with my peers and my team,” Cebulko said. “You always have ideas on how you would want to tackle a role, and it is fun to put those into action. It is an exciting time for our company. I’m excited to help lead us to success.”

“Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has an incredibly strong executive leadership team and adding Nick will only improve it,” Murphy said. “In just eight years with our company, he has proven that he is an innovative, dedicated, exceptional employee.”

An Indianapolis native, Cebulko earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Dayton in Ohio. He is also designated a CPA. He and his wife, Kara, reside in Fishers and have four children, Natalie, Nina, Everett, and Ellie. An avid tennis player, Cebulko also enjoys outdoor activities and coaching youth sports.

Murphy added, “For nearly 90 years, Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has been serving and protecting Hoosiers. I’m honored to have both of these leaders working alongside me to continue strengthening our company for decades to come.”
