Dallas Myrell Glover

September 10, 1934 – September 25, 2024

Dallas Myrell Glover, 90, Noblesville, entered into his Heavenly home and into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at his home. He was born on September 10, 1934, to Ordis and Mary (Williams) Glover in Jamestown, Ky.

Dallas was a 1952 graduate of Fishers High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Manchester College in 1955. He was a Chief Chemical Engineer at Firestone for almost 39 years before retiring then worked at the Walmart on 96th Street as a door greeter for 10 years. Dallas was a member of the Church of the Brethren, and then was a founding member of Life Church in Fishers. He enjoyed fixing old radios and televisions and was a member of a radio club. Dallas enjoyed spending time at home and looked forward to family gatherings. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, and very much loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Sarah Glover; daughter, Diana (Mark) Rouse; sons, Jeff (Elaine) Glover, John (Kathy) Glover, and Chris (Rhema) Glover; grandchildren, Laura (Gerald) Ross, Josh (Sarah) Rouse, Lindsay Rouse, Ashley (Adam) Eaton, Justin (Chelsey) Collar, Kristen (Kyle) Blackford, Dallas Isaiah Glover, Kara (Larry) Killian, Caleb (Sterling) Glover, Alaina (Mason) Fridley, and Asher Glover; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and sister, Mary Frances (Norman) Chaudion.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Pastor Nathan Peternel officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
