It may not be high noon, but chili showdown is this month

Do you make the best chili in Hamilton County? Then enter Wild, Wild Westfield’s Premier Chili Cook-Off, set to take place from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.

Local judges will determine the top three best chili entrees. Cash prizes will be awarded of $250 for first, $150 for second, $100 for third, as well as a “People’s Choice” award.

To enter the Premier Chili Cook-Off, register your chili at tinyurl.com/WildWildChili2024 or at ForOurNeighbor.Life. Once you have registered, bring a crockpot of chili to CrossRoads Church at Westfield by 4:15 p.m. Sept. 28.

The Premier Chili Cook-Off is being held at 19201 Grassy Branch Road, on the campus of CrossRoads Church at Westfield.

The Premier Chili Cook-Off is part of CrossRoad’s family-friendly Fall Fest from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 28. This free family-friendly event is for all who want to enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon of games, food, and music. Attendees will be able to taste the chilis entered in the contest.

In addition, enjoy face painting, inflatables, pony rides, food, kids’ games, adult fun, petting zoo, silent auction, bounce houses, and live music.
