You just never know who you might run into at the 4-H Fair. (BELOW) Hamilton County Superior 6 Judge Stephenie Gookins and Gaylor Electric CFO Jim Crews chat before the auction Tuesday evening. The event was complete with a surprise gift from the Reynolds family to every 4-H kid present (more on that in our special edition coming out Aug. 6), refreshments handed out by young 4-H’ers, and a very talented auctioneer. In the words of Leroy Van Dyke from his song “The Auctioneer,” “He said, ‘Oh my, it’s do or die. I’ve got to learn that auction cry. Gotta make my mark and be an auctioneer!’”
