County swimmers can’t stop stacking up wins at SwimFest

Hamilton County swimmers continued to pile up wins during Day 3 of the IN Swimming SwimFest last Saturday.

In the 11-12 age group, Carmel Swim Club got victories from Kate Allen in the Girls 400 freestyle, Linrui An in the Boys 400 freestyle, Sydney Ermel in the Girls 50 breaststroke and Blake Hadley in the Boys 100 butterfly. Carmel also swept the Girls and Boys 200 freestyle relay. Grace Gannon picked up a win for Fishers Area Swimming Tigers in the Girls 100 butterfly.

Carmel’s Ellie Clarke led the way for the Girls 13-14 division. She was a double winner in the 100 backstroke and 400 free. Carmel also was first in the Girls 200 free relay.

Andrew Shackell delivered a win for Carmel in the Men’s 400 free, while Fishers won the Women’s 200 free relay.
