State Road 37 & 141st Street
Preliminary construction work is underway at SR 37 and 141st Street. During this time pavement markings and concrete barriers will be placed. There will be no closures during this phase, only intermittent lane restrictions during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Please note the continued lane restrictions on SR 37 North and South, approaching the 141st Street Interchange.
Striping & Movement of Barrier Wall
- July 12 & 13, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- July 15 to 18, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On or after July 22, the westside of 141st Street at SR 37 will close for this phase of construction. Traffic will transition to the eastside, with SR 37 north and southbound lanes remaining open. This closure will remain in place throughout 2024.
Please review detour routes to plan ahead during this time (141st Street, SR 37 West, and SR 37 East). Thank you for your continued patience and remember to drive cautiously and safely through construction areas.

Miller Pipeline Utility Work
On July 16 and 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Miller Pipeline will be working on gas line maintenance along the south side of 116th Street and 250 feet west of The Legends Boulevard. Eastbound 116th Street will be restricted to one lane from just west of The Legends Boulevard. See an ariel view here.
106th Street & Cumberland Road
Later in July there will be lane restrictions at 106th Street and Cumberland Road while Verizon contractors install underground facilities. Lane restrictions will be in place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
96th Street & Allisonville Road
Phase 3A of the project has begun, during which there will be a slight shift in traffic to allow the contractor to build the future driveway for the Circle K gas station.
On or after July 22, the contractor will move into Phase 3B and traffic will shift from the east side of Allisonville Road to the west side and will continue to flow north and south. At this time, the driveway for Circle K constructed in Phase 3A will be accessible. Click here to see a map.
Road resurfacing projects
The contractor is continuing work in the Fox Run and Hillsborough neighborhoods and will work on road resurfacing at the following locations the week of July 15:
- Walnut Creek on Fortune Drive between Andrews Place and Cumberland Road
Residents should refrain from parking their vehicles on the street during active construction operations.
Homeowners will be notified via door hangers prior to any curb reconstruction near their home. After ADA ramp and curb reconstruction is completed, those areas will be restored with topsoil and seed. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to water the seed for the seed to germinate. Prior to road resurfacing, residents will be notified via street signage for street parking restrictions.
