On the final day of Lights Over Morse Lake, The Reporter found County Councilman Mark Hall sitting in a dunk tank for charity. Most of the dunkees were from the Cicero Police Department, and all the money went to Lights Over Morse Lake for next year’s festivities.

When ball wrangler and unofficial barker Dustin Dixon pointed out that Hall was partially responsible for things like local property taxes, the line to throw softballs grew strangely longer. Even Mark’s wife, Lisa, had to get in on the action. Some notable quotes from Councilman Hall included, “You know the property tax rate is primarily set by the state of Indi—” SPLASH! And, “Hey, [name redacted], you know I’ve never done anything to you perso—” SPLASH! Clearly a good time was had by all.
