The Hamilton County Veterans Corp (HCVC) will hold the Hamilton County Community Resource Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 at the Noblesville Schools Community Center, 1775 Field Drive.
This free event is open to the public to promote a stronger and more connected Hamilton County.
“We hope to reach as many of our Military/Veteran population as possible and to encourage our whole community to stop in and see what we are doing to connect our neighbors to the resources and benefits that can help them live a more fulfilled life here in Hamilton County,” HCVC Secretary Bill Doss said. “The more we learn about our neighbor’s issues, needs and the resources readily available to address those issues and needs, the more connected and stronger we will be as a community of friends helping friends/Veterans Serving Veterans.”
This Community Resource Fair will feature more than 80 booth spaces representing numerous resources for Military Veteran Community (MVC) and all residents of Hamilton County. Some of the free resources offered will include providers and outreach specialists from federal VA Benefits, Roudebush VA Hospital, County Veteran Service Officers, the Indiana Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Readiness and Employment, Military OneSource, Indiana WorkOne, the Hamilton County Health Department, City Health, Recovery/Rehab/Senior Care, Mental Health Wellness and Suicide Awareness, Housing, Homelessness, Insurance – Home – Auto – Life – Social Security, Retirement, Legal, Financial, Faith-based, Education, Employment, Family Programs, HVAF of Indiana, and so much more.
“The resources we have partnered with, bring their extensive support, services and expertise to one convenient location for all who attend so they may know how and who to connect with to address their concerns and needs,” Doss said. “As our guests visit the resource tables, they will have access to a wealth of information that can help them make informed decisions and discover resources and benefits they may not know were theirs to have!”
This free public event is presented and coordinated by the HCVC. How do I become a Hamilton County Veteran Corp member?
You may come to meetings at the Fishers American Legion, 9091 E. 126th St., at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of each month, or you may go online to hamiltoncountyveterans.com to fill out the form on the membership page and pay online. To mail your form and check for $25, send it to: HCVC, P.O. Box 503, Noblesville, IN 46061.
