Bruce Arthur Boje, 72, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Bruce was a beloved figure in his community, known for his generous spirit and humorous nature.

Bruce graduated from North Central High School before furthering his education at Purdue University and later at IU McKinney School of Law, which paved the way for his successful career as an attorney. In January, Bruce celebrated his 47th year as a partner with Boje, Benner, Becker, Markovich & Hixson.

Throughout his life, Bruce remained active and engaged in various sports and hobbies, including boating, golfing, water skiing, and snow skiing. He was also an avid traveler and cherished his vast network of friends and colleagues.

Described by those who knew him as thoughtful, kind, and caring, Bruce was a loving husband to Linda Wittmer Boje; a devoted father to Leigh Boje and her partner Amber, and Matthew Boje; and a loyal brother to Brian Boje (Rita) and Barb Watson (Dan). He also held a special place in the hearts of his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ellis (Tim) and Sharon Mallatt (Pete); and brother-in-law, Darrell Wittmer (Karen). Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Margaret Boje.

A man who loved dogs, nature, and the outdoors, Bruce’s laughter and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He had a particular fondness for chocolate, especially M&Ms (plain only) and chocolate chip cookies.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The arrangements for Bruce are being handled by Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Bruce’s life and legacy will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, as a beacon of light and love in the lives of his family and friends.
