Indianapolis-based Hallowell Consulting, LLC, a government relations and communications consulting firm, has hired southern Indiana native Luke Thomas as director of government relations and communications. He brings additional statewide relationships and experience to the company.
Thomas formerly served as press secretary and digital director for the Indiana Republican Party and Eric Holcomb for Indiana. He also gained experience as the communications director for Chambers for Indiana.
For three years, Thomas served on the Perry County Council as both vice president and president. He also served as the chairman of the Perry County Republican Party.
“Luke’s communications and public relations skills, combined with his background in government, make him a strong asset to our team,” Hallowell Consulting, LLC President Jennifer Hallowell said. “We’re thrilled to have him on board as we continue to grow our communications and government relations work and better serve our clients.”
Thomas earned his Master of Public Policy from Liberty University and his Bachelor of Science in applied geography with a concentration in urban and regional analysis from the University of Louisville.
