Franklin College celebrates 2024 graduates

Franklin College’s 2024 Commencement took place on Saturday, May 18 in Spurlock Center Gymnasium on the Franklin College campus. The top five majors of the graduating class were business, exercise science, psychology, biology, and elementary education. The college conferred 194 undergraduate degrees and 28 graduate degrees.

Graduates from Hamilton County earning masters degrees include:

  • Megana Vimala Bammidi of Westfield earned a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies.
  • Madison Anne Clayborn of Fishers earned a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies.

Graduates from Hamilton County earning undergraduate degrees include:

  • Kathryn Jane Brown of Noblesville earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in art studio (ceramics). She graduated cum laude.
  • Amber Marie Dawson of Sheridan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She graduated cum laude.
  • Kaitlyn Faith Hewitt of Westfield earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in accounting and business (management). She graduated cum laude.
  • Kayla Ann Nance of Noblesville earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.
  • Owen Daniel Ogle of Carmel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business (management).
  • Dianna Nicole Rollag of Fishers earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology (criminal justice).
  • Jillian Faith Schlieper of Carmel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology (biomedical sciences). She graduated summa cum laude.
  • Jada Brianne Tooley of Noblesville earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise science. She graduated cum laude.

Callie Crossley, a television and radio broadcast journalist in the Boston area, delivered the commencement address, and was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degree during the ceremony.

The senior class speaker was Noah Cook, a resident of Fort Wayne, who majored in creative writing and minored in English and Spanish. He was selected by his classmates to address the audience on their behalf.
