Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Enneking Pressure Cleaning, Inc. plans a weeknight ramp closure on U.S. 31 on the south side of Hamilton County.
According to INDOT, beginning on or after May 20, crews will close U.S. 31 southbound exit 123 between 111th and 106th streets in Carmel for an overlay project. This night work will occur from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday. Work is expected to last through Friday, May 24, weather permitting. The official detour for this work is Exit 124 to the 106th Street roundabout to U.S. 31 south to Interstate 465.
INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution, and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
