OneZone Chamber will welcome Anna Larson from The Garrett Companies to speak at the April Caffeinated Conversation.
Larson
Larson is the Director of Marketing at The Garrett Companies, a Greenwood, Ind.-based real estate company with a national presence. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international business, management, and marketing at Franklin College, where she also won the NCAA D3 800-meter run and became one of 30 women across all sports and divisions to be named NCAA Women of the Year.
Larson joined The Garrett Companies as a Communications Manager in 2019 after working at the Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce. During her tenure, she has grown the internship program from a small experiment with four students into a nationally recognized program in three years, recently ranked as the 29th best internship program nationwide by Firsthand.

“We hear from our membership about their interest in internships but have been looking for best practices, identifying metrics, and how to create an experience that is effective for the business while providing the individual a great experience,” OneZone Chamber President & CEO Jack Russell said. “That is why we brought Anna in to share more about the great work that The Garrett Companies is doing and how you can leverage their work around internships.”
Attendees will hear from Larson as she shares her expertise with internship programs. She will lead the discussion on how companies can attract interns and how to build a successful internship program.
