(Above) State Rep. Donna Schaibley (R-Carmel) listens to a colleague share a story about serving with her in the legislature Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, in the House Chamber at the Statehouse in Indianapolis.

Schaibley’s House colleagues took time from the legislative session to formally honor and recognize her near decade of service as a state representative for House District 24, which includes portions of Boone and Hamilton counties.

In October 2023, Schaibley announced her plan to complete her current term and not seek re-election. She serves as vice chair of the House Public Health Committee, and as a member of the House Insurance Committee and the House Statutory Committee on Ethics.
