February is a month to share the love, and who better to share with than rescue pups in need?
This Saturday, Feb. 17, all Three Dog Bakery locations (Hamilton Town Center, Broad Ripple, and Mass Ave) will play host to an Adopt Love Adoption Event from 1 to 3 p.m. where prospective pet parents can add a furry valentine to their family.
The Four Legged Ranch at Hamilton Town Center, The Animal Protection League in Broad Ripple, and Chihuahua Rescue Indiana at Mass Ave will be on-site to introduce rescue dogs to potential pet parents at the bakery in hopes of finding forever homes. Families will be able to meet the dogs and take them home all in the same day.
“We spoil dogs all year round, but during the season of love, we thought it was important to give extra to the rescue pups looking for a forever home,” said Stacey Petcu, owner of Three Dog Bakery, Indianapolis. “Our bakeries are working hard to spoil these pups with the love they deserve with our favorite treats and a forever family!”
Those adopting will be able to fill out a free Paw-tificate, Three Dog Bakery’s version of a birth certificate for rescue pups, finishing it off with the stamping of their new furry family member’s paw for the paw-sitively perfect keepsake to commemorate their Gotcha Day.
Pet parents will be able to treat their new pups to Three Dog Bakery’s special Valentine’s treats. All month long, bakeries are featuring love filled treats like Personalized Heart Cookies and Cakes, Red Velvet Cookies, and Lickety Splits, and the Strawberry Créme Cake.
