Carmel’s girls basketball team dropped a 44-34 game at North Central on Friday.
The Greyhounds led 13-6 after one quarter, which included three-pointers by Keaton Gatlin, Mackenzie Woods and Lauren Perry. The Panthers stormed back in the second quarter to lead 24-20 at halftime. Carmel made its own comeback in the third quarter to tie the game at 34-34, with Taryn Fisher scoring seven points. But North Central held the ‘Hounds scoreless in the fourth.
Fisher led Carmel with eight points.
The Greyhounds are 5-7 and host Heritage Christian on Tuesday.
