Hamilton Southeastern kept its season perfect Tuesday with a 69-57 Hoosier Crossroads Conference win at Brownsburg.
The Class 4A No. 1 Royals led 19-17 after the first quarter, then pulled ahead in the second by outscoring the Bulldogs 20-11 for a 39-28 halftime lead. Southeastern then stayed firmly ahead of Brownsburg for the second half.
Maya Makalusky had another tremendous game, scoring 35 points, a total that included four 3-pointers. Kayla Stidham added 13 points. Makalusky and Kennedy Holman both collected eight rebounds. Holman dished out eight assists, while Stidham made six steals and Makalusky had four.
The Royals are 2-0 in HCC play and 6-0 overall, and host Carmel Friday afternoon.

Westfield ran its win streak to three on Tuesday with a 49-42 victory over Pike at CSI Gymnasium.
The Red Devils led 12-10 after one quarter, but the Shamrocks came back to lead 24-21 at halftime. Reagan Lorenzen poured in seven points in the second period, giving her 10 for the half. Pike moved ahead 33-32 at the end of three, but Westfield outscored the Red Devils 17-9 in the fourth quarter Ellie Kelleher went 7 of 8 from the free-throw line in that last period.
Kelleher finished with 21 points, while Lorenzen scored 17.
The Shamrocks are 5-1 and are off until Dec. 2 when they host Warsaw.

Sheridan blasted past Western Boone 72-32 Tuesday at Larry Hobbs Gymnasium.
The Blackhawks outscored the Stars in all four quarters, leading 25-8 after one period and 39-17 at halftime. Sheridan ran away with the game in the fourth quarter, outscoring WeBo 21-6.
Four Blackhawks reached double figures, led by Nova Cross with 22 points. Shelby Eaton added 16. Kenzie Garner came close to a triple-double with 14 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds; she also had seven steals. Cecilia Timme added 10 points and seven steals, with Eaton making six steals.
Sheridan is 3-2 and plays next Tuesday at Frankfort.

Fishers won a hard-fought HCC game 46-38 at Zionsville Tuesday.
The Tigers led 13-11 after one quarter, then 18-15 at halftime. Allison Scheu scored seven points in the first half, while Talia Harris had six points. Fishers continued to grind out the game in the second half, scoring 13 in the fourth quarter to clinch the win.
Scheu and Harris both finished with 13 points.
The Tigers are 1-1 in the conference and 5-2 overall, and play Saturday at Fort Wayne Snider.

Guerin Catholic dropped a 56-23 game to Lapel Tuesday at the Eagles Nest.
Gianna Morelli led the Golden Eagles with nine points.
Guerin Catholic is 1-5 and plays Saturday at Cardinal Ritter.
