The Tipton County Pork Festival is billed as one of Indiana’s original festivals, and the crowds at last weekend’s festival prove it’s still one of the most popular. The festival was complete with live music, rides (including a Ferris wheel), one-inch-thick pork chops, a pageant, vendors, and lots of great food – some of which (gasp!) didn’t even include pork. We do hope the French fries were deep-fried in real lard. Either way, Tipton County certainly knows how celebrate the end of summer. Heck, this festival is such a big deal it needs TWO parades!
