The Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) will organize and conduct a Local Working Group meeting to determine the ranking for the 2023 Farm Bill Programs through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
A discussion will be held after the regularly scheduled board meeting at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds Conference Room, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville.
Anyone who has interest in land located in Hamilton County is welcome to attend. If you wish to join virtually, please email soil.water@hamiltoncounty.in.gov for a link to participate via Microsoft Teams.
If you wish to have input on program ranking, have questions regarding this matter, or cannot attend, please email Angie Garrison at angela.garrison@usda.gov or call the office at (317) 773-2181 for a ranking sheet. All input is due by Wednesday, Sept. 20.
