Life with the Afterlife: True Tales of the Paranormal with Ghost Hunter Amy Bruni
Saturday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m.
The Tarkington
Amy Bruni began her professional career as a paranormal investigator in 2007 when she joined the cast of SyFy’s Ghost Hunters, eventually starring in 116 episodes. Now, she’s the co-star and executive producer of The Travel Channel’s Kindred Spirits and hosts the wildly popular Haunted Road podcast.
In her live appearances, Bruni shares her unique approach to interacting with the spirits of the dead, along with hair-raising tales from her countless hours hunting ghosts at America’s most haunted locations. By the end of the night, you will question everything you thought you knew about the spirit world.

Uptown: Motown Remixed

From New York City, the epicenter of contemporary pop and soul, Uptown is a group that combines the smooth stylings of classic R&B with the fresh hits of today – the perfect mix of Bruno Mars-caliber stage presence with the vocals of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Each member of the collective is a soloist, bringing a unique flavor that will have any crowd on its feet dancing and singing along.

Come take a trip to the seaside! This session, kids will swim with fish, row in boats, and sing songs about sunshine as summer comes to a close. They’ll sing, clap, bounce, tap, play instruments, and learn rhymes centered on sea, sun, fish, and fun. You and your child will have a blast in this fantastically fun class of musical marine exploration.
These highly engaging five-week music and movement classes for toddlers and their adult caregivers provide an age-appropriate music curriculum and related activities designed to immerse children and adults in the joy of music. Each Friday morning session introduces new songs, movement, instruments, and rhythms.

Luminaries: Mónica M. Muñoz – The Identity of a Dancer
Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m.
The Palladium
Puerto Rican professional dancer, teacher, choreographer, and director Mónica M. Muñoz will share the story of how heritage, culture, tradition, lived experiences and external factors work to shape and define identity. She will share photographs, videos and stories depicting her Cuban mother’s and Ecuadorian father’s journey to Puerto Rico and how she eventually made her way to Indianapolis, all driven by her passion and love for dance.

Beginner Ukulele Class
Wednesdays Sept. 27 to Oct. 25 at 8 p.m.

Never played the ukulele but want to learn? This five-week class is for you. In this skills-based course, students will learn basic strums and chords by focusing on a new song each week. Students may remain in this group until they feel confident to move on to General Ukulele.
Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Peanut Butter & Jam: Musical Conexion
Saturday, Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m.

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, make joyful connections through the universal language of music with Musical Conexion. This fun-filled, bilingual cultural experience is designed for both Spanish-speaking and non-Spanish-speaking families alike, with songs, movements and finger plays in Spanish and English accompanied by real instruments like guitar and cajón peruano. Cote Godoy of Chile and Kelsi Lee of Indiana are active musicians and experienced educators who create a fun, accepting, encouraging and inclusive atmosphere for everyone!
Designed for children aged 1 to 7, Peanut Butter & Jam sessions encourage young children to become engaged in the arts.
