Residents can explore more than 20 clubs & civic groups this Saturday
The Fishers Health Department will host the first Club Day at the Fishers Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to noon this Saturday, Aug. 19 at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater.
Farmers Market guests can explore local clubs and civic groups, mingle with club representatives, and build social connections within the community while shopping at their favorite vendors. As a part of the city’s ongoing efforts to create a Stigma Free Fishers, Club Day encourages residents to explore local clubs and civic groups to build social connectivity and form relationships to better individuals’ mental health and fight isolation.
The City of Fishers also launched the Fishers Club Hub, an initiative to connect local businesses with social clubs, civic groups, and nonprofits. Clubs and groups can find free meeting space at local businesses on the Club Hub Meeting Space Directory, and Fishers businesses can join the list by offering a free, welcoming place for clubs to host their meetings.
